Client Coffee helps local service businesses across Canada get found, capture leads, and win more work. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it — in plain language, not legalese.

Who we are

Client Coffee ("we," "us," "our") is a Canadian company. You can reach us anytime at hello@clientcoffee.com or through our contact page.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you run a free audit, fill out our contact form, or start a plan, you may share your name, email, phone number, business name, and website. If you sign up for a paid plan, payments are handled by our payment provider (Stripe) — we never see or store your full card details.

What we look up for an audit. To build your report, we use publicly available information about your business, such as your Google Business Profile, website, and local search presence.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we record basic usage data — pages visited, browser and device type, and approximate region — using cookies and similar tools. This helps us see what's working and fix what isn't.

How we use it

  • Deliver the audit, report, or service you asked for
  • Respond to your questions and follow up
  • Run, secure, and improve our tools and website
  • Process payments and manage your plan
  • Meet our legal and accounting obligations

We only use your information for the reason it was collected, or a reason closely related to it.

When we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate — for example, payment processing, email delivery, hosting, and analytics — and only what they need to do their job. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside Canada. Where they do, your information stays protected by safeguards comparable to those described here.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure traffic. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or to meet legal and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • See the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete your information
  • Stop contacting you

Just email hello@clientcoffee.com and we'll take care of it. If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your information, you have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and limit access to what's necessary. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

Changes

We may update this policy as our business changes. When we do, we'll update the date at the top.
